Fondation Boghossian - Belgium

The Boghossian Foundation was created in 1992 By Robert and his two sons Jean and Albert Boghossian, Lebanese jewelers of Armenian origin, based in Antwerp and Geneva.

Following the first activities financed by the Boghossian Foundation which was the reconstruction of part Gumri that was destroyed by a violent earthquake, Robert, Jean and Albert were named honor citizens if this city in 2002.

Until now the Boghossian Foundation has always aimed for the improvement of the living conditions of the young people both in Armenia and Lebanon in order to encourage them for a better future. For this purpose the Boghossian Foundation finances social, educational, artistic and medical projects.

In 2006 the foundation has acquired the Villa Empain, one of the jewels of the architectural heritage of Brussels. This prestigious building of a splendid testimony of the Art Deco style is intended to become the headquarter of the foundation.
