The Centre d’Enseignement Professionnel Franco-Arménien (CEPFA) was founded on the initiative of the Rhône Arménie Fondation Echange (RAFE) and with the collaboration of the French Embassy in Armenia in order to develop a cultural, scientific and technical cooperation between the French and the Armenian Governments. Its action is mainly based on vocational training, the French speaking world and the international opening.

Opened since 2001 following a pedagogic agreement signed in 2000 between the Education and the Science Ministers, the French Embassy, the Société d’Enseignement Professionnel du Rhône (SEPR) and the Association Rhône Arménie Formation Echanges (RAFE), the centre has been inaugurated on June 21st 2002 and has the status of a non-lucrative association.
